czemu ten kod nie dziala:

chodzi o vertical-align diva. mimo iz daje middle, to tekst sie wyswietla jako top :/ tak jakby nie dzialal :/ prosze o pomoc

ze co? atrybutem tego diva jest 'id' i 'style' a atrybutem stylu jest 'vertical-align'..
co do problemu, zerknij na ten przyklad:

Ok, to źle się wyraziłem. Zgadzam się, że jest, tylko nie działa - więc tak jakby go nie było.

Jeśli chcesz tam wstawić nie więcej niż jedną linijkę tekstu to posłuż się parametrem line-height. Dopisz po prostu line-height: 100px; Przy bardziej skomplikowanych rzeczach musisz używać marginesów (odradzam padding)
