problem z htaccess Opcje

doinstalowałem sobie do oscommerce dodatek zamieniający linki na bardziej przyjazne dla google
zmienialem tez htaccess, kiedy wpisuje adres strony mam kumunikat:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access / on this server.

po wpisaniu pełnej sciezki tzn. razem z index.php wszystko gra
inne stronki na serwerze dzialają normalnie wiec podejzewam htaccess
dodałem taki wpis:

DirectoryIndex index.php

ale nadal nic

problem pojawia sie gdy jest linia RewriteEngine on, kiedy ja zablokuje strona wyswietla sie ok
