Problem z sesjami !, Fatal error: Call to undefined function session_start() Opcje

Zainstalowalem sobie php Version 5.0.5-Debian-0.8~sarge1 (Debian GNU/Linux) na Apache/2.0.54 (Debian GNU/Linux) php/5.0.5-Debian-0.8~sarge1.
Przymierzam się do pewnego projektu... chcę korzystać z sesji a tu zonk
Fatal error: Call to undefined function session_start() in /home/cralt/public_html/2hel/transact-user.php on line 20
Phpini() nie wyswietla zadnych info o sesji. Moze mi ktos powiedziec dlaczego i co zrobic zeby bylo ok?
Apacha i php instalowalem poprzez apt-get install apache2 mysql-server php5 libapache2-mod-php5 php5-mysql
