Tripin is a startup that aims to create a globally recognizable brand for travellers.
Currently in its inital stage, Tripin is looking for a Web Developer who will be responsible for front-end, back-end, database administration and server setup.

Position Summary:

Are you passionate about building websites, web platforms and creating amazing user experience?

We are looking for an experienced Web Developer to deal with front-end, back-end, database administration and server setup.
We are located in Krakow, Poland, but we are open to online cooperation with bi-weekly or monthly check-ins in person.
You can work from home as we expect you to be independent, self-motivated, able to manage your work without close supervision.
The assignment is estimated to take around 2-3 months (full-time) or up to 6 months (part-time) with a possibility of permanent employment afterwards.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

• At least 2 years professional experience as a Web developer
• Knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, PHP
• Advanced knowledge of SQL (MySQL/Oracle/MS SQL/PostgreSQL)
• Experience in integrating third party API’s, using jquery and PHP
• Passion for creating simple, intuitive web experiences that delight customers
• Self-motivated, and can excel in a team-based environment
• Committed to delivering great solutions in a timely manner
• Great sense of humor, ambitious and excited about working in a fast paced environment
• Able to to read and write technical documentation in English
• Experienced in developing flows and interaction for complex web and mobile applications is a plus
• Online portfolio is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the project from initiation to completion, including server setup, database design and administration
• Participate in the analysis of software requirements
• Use your proficiency with HTML/CSS, Javascript and PHP to fullfill all requirements and bring to life a working and usable web application
• Work with Web/UX designer to optimize the user experience
• Solve complex interaction problems with simplistic approaches, illustrating your solution with user flows, wireframes, and visual mockups
• Collaborate with product managers, and other engineers to ensure the solutions are feasible and do not limit scalability of the application and to incorporate team innovations
• Participate in design, code reviews and work on bug fixing
