Call to undefined function: mysql_connect() Opcje

Wczoraj zainstalowałem nowego MySql'a 4.0.20 i wszystko grało. Dziś włączam kompa i sam mysql działa (tzn loguje po wpisaniu #mysql -u root -p) problem jest tylko gdy próbuje łączyć się z poziomu php (wczoraj mi działało). Wyświetla różne błędy w zależności od skryptu który uruchamiam. Oto przykłady:

Jedyną rzecz którą wczoraj jeszcze zrobiłem z MySql'em to:

# mysql_install_db
# safe_mysqld &

mysql> delete from user where User='';

# mysqladmin -u root -p reload

Czy ktoś wie co zrobiłem źle?

W jakiś sposób wyłączyłeś obslugę bazy w php. Te błędy, oznaczają, że próbujesz wywołać nieistniejącą funkcji, jestczyli jest wyłączona obsługa mysqla.
