Probably some of you have heard about Gfinity.net - very fast growing e-sports company, based in London, which have realistic ambitions to be the biggest European e-sport community. Within last couple of weeks we published our Xbox app and started cooperation with CEVO in order to organise better, automated Counter-Strike tournaments. Besides virtual tournaments played through our website, almost each weekend we organise stationary events in our Arena in London. Feel free to take a look at http://www.gfinity.net/

As we grow, we would like to hire 2 additional PHP developers for long term, full-time cooperation. This is remote position.

1. What you should know?
- basic aspects of optimization - e.g. why data redundancy in DB is in most cases better than normalization and foreign keys are not always the best mechanism that DB can offer
- different aspects of applications ran on multi-servers architecture - e.g. how to share PHP sessions between 4 web servers and data between 3 DB instances
- how to use Google to solve common problems
- how to not overcomplicate your code
- how to read documentations to understand new technologies
- how to use English to communicate with people (Skype chat) - however application development team speaks Polish
- how to do basic things using SSH console on Linux

2. What technologies we use
- Yii framework on top of PHP 5.6.x with multiple 3rd party libraries
- Amazon AWS servers architecture - EC2 behind ELB, RDS, ElastiCache, CloudFront, SQS, etc.
- MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Memcached, Redis, Node.js

3. What we offer
- salary paid very timely each month - up to 10,000 PLN per month depending of cooperation form (see description below)
- very interesting project and technologies to work with
- raw programming job - you don't need to slice any HTML, etc.
- 8-hours work day. We don't call you in your free time. Any overtime, if needed, is always agreed earlier and covered at agreed rate.

4. Współpraca
- Formy współpracy: FV / umowa zlecenie / umowa o dzieło - rozliczenia z polską firmą, w PLN. W zależności od wybranej formy współpracy stosunek kwoty netto/brutto może się różnić.
- Przed rozpoczęciem współpracy i przekazaniem danych dostępowych zostanie podpisana umowa o zachowaniu poufności.

5. Forma kontaktu
Proszę o maila na contact@chillidev.com z kilkoma zdaniami na temat swojej osoby. Zamiast CV czy listu motywacyjnego, lepiej opisz w kilkunastu zdaniach swoje doświadczenie zawodowe.

6. Rekrutacja
Postaram się odpisać wszystkim, którzy się do mnie odezwą.
Z wybranymi osobami będę chciał przeprowadzić krótką rozmowę internetową na temat ich doświadczenia, zadać kilka prostych pytań na tematy ogólnie pojętego programowania, itp. Jak pisałem wyżej - są to stanowiska dla 2 osób.
