Error 500 przy mod_rewrite Opcje

Opiszę mój problem prosto z mostu.
Otóż chciałem, aby wpisanie w przeglądarce admin.html dawało taki sam wynik jak admin.php. Niby prosta rzecz związana z mod_rewrite.
W katalogu strony utworzyłem plik .htaccess, a w nim, taki oto kod:

Próba otworzenia jakiejkolwiek strony na moim serwerze kończy się teraz tak:

Dodam, że phpinfo() pokazuje, że mod_rewrite jest załadowany, a w logu apache mam taki wpis:
