Witam
jestem lame w temacie php

chciałem zainstalować sobie coś takiego jak download na serwerze

w opisie do tego skryptu było coś takiego

How to install Magic Downloads
----------------------------


1. Create directory on your server for Magic Downloads Control Panel.
2. Make chmod of this directory to 0777. You can make it using your ftp client or ssh server access
3. Upload all the files from Magic Downloads archive to this directory.
4. Make chmod of config.php to 0777.
5. Make chmod of downloads directory to 0777.
6. Run install.php from your browser.
7. Enter username & password you want for control panel, your email, and click install.
8. Read instructions in the control panel.

O co chodzi w punkcie 1,2,4,5 ?

znaczy

1. Stwórz katalog na serwerze dla Magic Downloads Control Panel. (np. /download/)
2. Ustaw prawa tego katalogu na 0777. Możesz to zrobić przy pomocy klienta ftp lub programu ssh.
3. Zgraj wszystkie pliki z archiwum Magic Downloads Control Panel do utworzonego w punkcie pierwszym katalogu.
4. Nadaj prawa plikowi config.php na 0777.
5. Nadaj prawa kalogowi "downloads"(?) na 0777.

Zrobiłem wszystko zgodnie z tym opisem i wyskoczył mi taki komunikat

Settings has been updated
Error during instalation: Cannot change chmod to 0777 on /data/members/free/tripod/uk/t/o/m/tomson5/htdocs/download/codes
