PHP Developer

We are looking for a PHP developer, who loves to get challenged, enjoys teamplay and prefers being listened to instead of listening all the time.

Skillset

• +2 years of experience
• Excellent working knowledge of PHP (5.5+), MySQL (5.6+) and web application development
• Experience with Symfony2 framework is a plus
• Experience with unit testing
• Experience with basic linux server administration, simple shell scripts,etc.
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ, Redis, MongoDB, Apache Solr/Elastic Search, Memcached as well as scaling of high-traffic websites is a plus.
• Reliable and self-dependent team player, who is able and willing to work and solve complex problems without supervision
• Creative and proactive person (involved into a product, not just waiting for random tasks to be done)
• Worked in Agile team
• Sports data and betting industry knowledge/interest is a plus
• Advanced English skills required (English-speaking environment)

Baytekin Consult is a multinational company that is registered in Poland. We operate business-to-consumer portals and do business-to-business consultancy on business intelligence and management. Right now we spend most of our time at ProTipster - our start-up that is already launched and makes us excited. We are not a corporation and we do not aim to be a very large enterprise, but our funding and revenues are well-secured. Our aim is to create the best sites for people who are looking for sports information and betting advice; while making the user experience as interactive and as fun as possible.
