In cooperation with our partner Hogarth Worldwide, an international company based in London, we run a project whose final customers are large corporations. The system, built with Scrum methodology, allows our clients for global managing their marketing campaigns. At first sight, product might seem to be a simple Django web application, but in fact the product that we develop is a complex, incredibly dynamic framework - a tool with which we create the final system.

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with Product Owners and Business Analysts to gather and validate software requirements and create system, functional and acceptance tests
  • Works closely with Software Engineers and ensures lines of communication remain open at all times
  • Writes and executes both manual and automated Behave (Selenium based) test cases
  • Maintains appropriate test coverage for both new features and existing functionality for regression testing
  • Reviews test automation scripts written by other members of the team
  • Executes cross browser tests on a mix of modern and legacy web browsers and OS combinations
  • Participates in non-functional testing including but not limited to Security, Performance and Usability testing
  • Records and reports on quality metrics
  • Helps establishing best practices and standards for quality in the company
  • Ensures systems are working according to requirements and recommends improvements
  • Ensures features and applications are tested prior to release and/or alerts development of any issues


Expectations:

  • Experience in automation testing
  • 1 year of experience with Selenium
  • Knowledge of bug tracking, version control and test cases control systems
  • Experience with Python
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working in Agile environment under tough timelines
