My client is the development and licencing unit of a TV-Company which runs two TV-Channels and
corresponding digital products (Web and Mobile) in Germany and Switzerland. They are looking for a
Senior Web Developer (100%)

This job is based in our Zurich offices. Start: as of now.

About the company:
It is the first european Social-TV-Channel which offers interactive and transmedia entertainment formats for
generation y. Target group is between 15 and 34 years old and focuses on topics like music, lifestyle, fashion,
celebritites, nightlife and dating. In order to do this they are focused in merging TV, web, mobile and social media. This
means a lot of groundbreaking concept-, development-, design-, and UX-challenges. In order to tackle these

Responsibilities
- you develop new features and applications for our growing social TV plattform
- you develop realtime interfaces to our broadcast systems and mobile applications
- you document your code and write unit- and functional tests
- you work close with the Symfony 2 open source community - take responsiblity of your contributions

Requirements
- you have professionally worked at least 3 -5 years with Zend or Symfony 2 (PHP) or a different web framework
- you have experience in HTML 5, CSS 3 and Javascript and ideally worked with YUI3 and LESS
- you know how to write client server applications with nodejs / socket.io or similiar tools
- you are uncomplicated, like to work in a team and you have good communication skills
- your english is fluent
- you have experience in OOP and relational data bases and MVC
- you have worked on a Mac before
- you know the basics how to setup a LAMP stack
