We are a prestigious digital agency based in London, seeking a Magento Developer to offer support to a range of clients, across different industries. As well as be involved in creating, building new functionality and features as part of projects.
You'll be expected to advise on best development practices and draw on previous experience to make realistic and commercially viable solutions to problems. This role needs to have a high level of understanding of the current industry trends.
Skills & Capabilities
• Magento Backend Developer Certified
• Magento CE 2.0+ experience
• MVC Framework experience
• Demonstrable Object Orientated (OO) PHP 5.6/7 development experience
• MySQL 5.6+ experience
• Advanced database knowledge (including Redis/MemCache)
• Demonstrable experience producing Magento modules
• Demonstrable experience in integrating Magento and external software (ERP, CRM, etc.)
• Experience debugging Magento code
• Using AJAX (XML, JSON, etc.) within a web application
• Code Performance and Optimisation experience
• SSH & Linux Operations
• Magento feature set knowledge
• HTML 5
• CSS3
• JavaScript/jQuery
• Git/SVN Version Control
• PHP development best practices
• Multi-device & Multi-browser testing
• Advanced English communication skills
Additional skills that are beneficial to this role include:
• Use of Full Page Caching
• Use of New Relic or similar for debugging and performance
• Use of AWS hosting and features
• Atlassian JIRA/Confluence Software
• Producing a testing plan
